My new section sergeant is fucking PSYCHO. He was briefing us late yesterday evening at 4 pm about how we will do a motivational run every Friday and that tomorrow would be muscle failure. After that, he asked to see me and my NCO in the office after everyone left, probably so nobody would be a witness to the abusive things he was about to say.

He said accusingly, "Now, you know I'm good at analyzing soldiers." He paused and I raised an eyebrow. "Um. . ?" "I can tell what kind of soldier you are in the first 5 minutes of talking to you. And you have that thousand yard stare." "Um, sergeant? That's my normal expression."

Without acknowledging anything I had just said, he goes on - "That look either means that you don't care, or that you have something deep, dark, and depressing going on in your life that you need to know about - and I, no, WE, WE, need to figure it out. I say, "WE", because WE are a team. WE need to figure it out!"

I shook my head. "Dude, this guy is a fucking psycho," I thought to myself. So I attempted to reason with him once more. "Sergeant? Sergeant, that is my normal expression." "Well, if that's your normal expression, something's wrong. And WE, WE need to figure it out. Now people say opinions don't matter- but MY opinion does! And if you don't drop that thousand yard stare and get right, I'm gonna take this to the next level. Do you understand me?"

At this point I wanted to fucking punch him in the face. As he went on I found out it was all just because I had the wrong top on and accidentally slipped on the wrong cold weather top. I already don't like this new section sergeant we have - he's one of those brainwashed robotic type soldiers that have no emotions.
