I had a surgery yesterday and they gave me medicine to knock me out. I slept for about 14 hours and they did surgery on my toe because it was infected. I know, I know, gross, tmi, but it had to be done and just letting everyone know why I wasn't on yesterday.

I felt a lot more energetic so I lifted some weights today and have a profile for no marching and no heavy running or climbing for about a week.

Anyway, now that personal news is out of the way..

THE TOURNAMENT.

I have made my decision. I shall draw Blaze150 and Ezekiel's match now. Please, come forward, and send your note with Paper, Rock, or Scissors.

PumpedAaron, since we aren't always able to stay in contact, after this match is completed, either you must submit your reference sheet or you will have to be out of the tournament and Dlaigo will win the match by default. I'm sorry that it had to come to this, but we can't keep waiting and waiting on you. The tournament has to go on.

I am still awaiting a submission from PumpedAaron before I begin illustrating the next match. Blaze150 and Ezekiel, if you'd like, I can illustrate your match first so we can keep viewers interested - otherwise the pageviews are going to be dropping fast, and we don't want fans to leave!

The decision is up to you. Do not take this the wrong way, but guys, next time I make a tournament, I'm not going to accept the entries until we completely plan out the entire tournament - the tournament could have been done by now if it wasn't for the holdups!

I appreciate you all participating, but these last minute submissions are holding up progress and I really want to bring to you all a nice and exciting tournament.

My old platoon sergeant has decided to take me back to the HHT troop. I may be either a driver or a dismount for the QRF team of Scorpion as I once was before. I get along with all of them fairly well now save for two people, but I can deal with the situation and still manage to work amongst them.

My platoon sergeant said today I won't be court martialed or getting discharged and personally will see to it within all his power that does not happen. He has helped me a lot this very day today as far as getting more uniforms as all my old ones are tattered with tears from the work on Mayor Cell at Camp Cobra also.

I probably am going to lose rank and get extra duty, but nothing new to me. I won't let this damage my confidence or break me.. thank you all for your support.

Hey everybody, the Duke got into a fight in real life today!

I've been working with this guy that's a specialist for quite some time. Some specialists want to push other people back,
even their own friends sometimes, to get the Sergeant rank and become an NCO. Well, this guy would treat us like dirt.
He'd go play Call of Duty 4 from 9 am to 1pm everyday while me and my team on mayor cell pound posts in the boiling
hot sun and make fences.

He attained his Sergeant rank after much dick-sucking to our First Sergeant, doing whatever he says and also snitching
on us and using his rank for self-gain. Over the last 40 days he's been on leave, and me and my friend Private G-love
(that's his nickname, not gonna say his real name for OPSEC reasons) have taken on the mayor cell duties by ourselves
just fine.

I was parking the trash truck today after a long hard day of burning trash and Barnyard (the specialist I mentioned now
crowned Corporal) got on to me about not having a ground guide to park it. "I've GOT IT, Barnyard," I said. "Is that any
way to talk to a FUCKING NCO?" He kept yelling. I ignored him and he grabbed the door walking with the vehicle as I
parked it.

He kept saying over and over, "Is that any FUCKIN' way to talk to an NCO?" I shook my head and was at my threshold
for how much anger I could control. Nobody liked this guy and I always was nice to him, and he just took advantage of
that.

"I'm not in the mood, Barnyard," I shook my head. "That's CORPORAL Barnyard to you," he retorted. After he said that
I jumped out of the trash truck and punched him in the nose, then lost balance and fell down in the gravel. I quickly jumped
back upwards and started hitting him with a left and a right over and over until an Iraqi man saw and broke us apart.

"GO TO THE TOC NOW!!!" He kept yelling. I stood there, calm, not even panting, surprised at how I was able to keep my
perfect composure. I believe it was my meditation I'd been doing. "Then go get 1st Sergeant," I replied. Another NCO told
me to go to the TOC, so I did.

The power kept going out because of the generators so my 1st Sergeant was too occupied doing other things. Right now
I am packing to get ready to go on a 5-day rest rotation to Caldwell. When I get back from Caldwell I might lose my rank
and have to do extra duty for up to 13 hours a day in the searing hot sun.

I deeply apologise but I don't know what's going to happen, so anything you wish to say to me, tell me or let me know in
these next five days. You may not see me online for quite some time after these five days are up.

I do know this:
-I won't be going to jail. He has not pressed charges.
-I am still friends with him. I am polite to him and still respect him and follow orders if they are reasonable.
-I have gained the respect of my fellow comrades as everyone believes he had this coming and simultaneously
have proven I shall not be talked to like an animal.

He is still my friend and I do not hate him at all; I always try to be friends even with people I lose fights with. That is all.

I may be a bit slower dishing out the tournament matches, guys. Things are getting hectic and officers are trying to be dicks by giving us more dumb shit to do than we really have to to occupy our time.

I'm still working on it, it'll just be a lot slower than it was going before. Stay tuned and check back once a day, I'll still be online, but I'm a bit worn down after work today so I'm taking a break and just talking to friends and whatnot.

Sally's creator was butthurt that she lost the match, so she started this huge argument and even pulled her new boyfriend into the mix, with her "Oh I'm such a helpless victim" act, getting him to bitch me out on aim over it. Kinda sad that she can't see this is just a game and fun for everybody.

I tried to warn her new boyfriend of this girl. I hate bringing my personal problems to DA, but this girl always acts like she's suicidal, she cuts herself and slices her wrists and then calls her friends and says "I'm about to kill myself" just to get attention.

Okay, guy, I've known 4 people that have killed themselves in real life. They never let people know they are going to do it because they don't want those that care about them to stop them. For her to say she is suicidal just to gain attention is horrible and disgraceful to my friends that actually HAVE killed themselves out here in Iraq.

Yes, this is the same girl that I've mentioned before in previous journal entries. She's officially blocked me and simultaneously disowned her character, giving me full rights, so now Sally is my OC.

For those of you that don't know, Sally's creator dated me when I was on leave in January and then cheated on me as soon as I got back to Iraq, by asking me to call her on the phone. She then cussed me out and told me she could give a fuck less if I got shot and killed.

I tried to be her friend and help her through some hard times, but in reality, she's just bottling up all this hatred and sorrow and taking it out on the world just because she has a bad home situation, which really, isn't even that bad, she's just a spoiled little brat.

Again I'm not going to say her real name out of courtesy and I'm just not an instigator like that. But I am making it known to the world that I am pissed about her betrayal and that Sally is going to now be a main reoccuring villain in the comic.

I originally was going to have Sally become a hero towards the end of the comic, but Sally's creator was too stuck up and closed minded to realise that this currently was just a plot twist and that she temporarily was going to just be a villain.

But oh well, shit happens.


Now that I got that out of my system, let's change the subject for much more pleasant topics. Oh yes, the remainder of the tournament. Next match is Luna vs. Des, which shall prove to be a very interesting battle of sorts.

After this it shall be Fen vs. Andy, and then Aaron vs. Dlaigo. The final match's slot is still being debated over and we have plenty of time to make a decision on it, so Blaze150 and Dracoinu, you both have enough time to come to a conclusion and just wanting you both to know that there's no pressure on either of you.

I'll get around to drawing the Luna vs. Des match sometime this evening or tomorrow depending on how packed the recreation center is tonight! See ya then!

Had a great workout in the gym today.

Guys, just wanted to let you all know, I AM working on the tournament. The problem here is that Emma and Sally keep choosing ROCK in Rock, Paper, Scissors. I also have to wait for Sally to log on to aim so I can ask her what she picks, then ask Emma when she logs in to MSN.

So once I get this shit straight, I'll post that match, and move on to the next one. PLEASE have patience, the tournament will go on!

Just got around to drawing Emma and Sally's match. They both chose Rock, so they must choose again, then the match shall conclude.

These are the orders I shall draw the matches in, by how I received them:

1. Duke vs. Lily
2. Sally vs. Emma
3. Luna vs. Des
4. Fen vs. Andy
5. Dlaigo vs. Pumped Aaron
6. <open slot> vs. Ezekiel >>> Still debating on the match between Dracoinu and DigiDayDreamer. They both have great characters and giving them a fight would give them both a chance to be in the comic, regardless of wether they win , or lose.

In the end it is up to them. Everyone is in complete control over their characters.

Also , once the series is finished, a game shall be in the works. It will take a while to create as I must round up a team to help with each individual job. But first things first! The tournament.

Everyone. There is just ONE SLOT left. And it's been requested, so technically, that is taken up already.

There are currently two people requesting it; Blaze150 and Dracoinu. The only reason it hasn't been filled just yet is because I don't think it is fair to just give the slot to one and have the other cancelled out.

Because I'm short on time and can't note both of you individually, I figured I'd announce it in my journal. I was thinking the two of you can have a match to decide who gets the slot! Does this sound fair?

Note me or just comment here and let me know! I'll get around to drawing your characters as soon as I'm able. I'm flooded with messages and emails right now that must be answered, so pardon the delays!

Hello, everyone. Duke here! Figured I'd take over since Leininger is too lazy and getting drunk all the time. He could have beaten me if he hadn't gotten so overconfident just because of his size! Oh, well.

Fen is new on our list, in slot 7, against Andy! Wow. Wonder what this new guy is gonna do? Andy's pretty tough, though, so it's hard to tell who will win!
